Biography

Laiping Zhao (赵来平) is a Full Professor in the College of Intelligence and Computing at Tianjin University, where he also serves as the Associate Dean of the School of Software.

His current research interests include LLM systems and Cloud computing systems. He has published in prestigious conferences (such as SC, ASPLOS, HPCA, ATC, and EuroSys) and top-tier journals (such as IEEE TPDS, IEEE TC and ACM TOCS). His research received Best Paper Award at IFIP NPC'24, Best Paper Award at ICPADS'22, Best Paper Finalist at SC'21, Best Student Paper Award at AINA'12, and Tianjin Municipal Science and Technology Progress Special Prize.
